To which standards is SPP Profile produced?

Profiles are cold-formed on CNC roll-forming lines from high-strength galvanized steel; corrosion resistance falls under BS EN 10346. Effective section calculations are made to TS EN 1993-1-3, Eurocode 3 and AISI S100-2007.

Why is weld-free connection preferred?

Welding alters the material properties in the heat-affected zone and damages the galvanized coating. Bolted and riveted connections avoid this; they also speed up site assembly and keep the option of dismantling and rebuilding.

Can dimensions and thickness be changed?

Catalogue dimensions are prepared for the most common uses. Different sections and wall thicknesses can be produced according to the project's structural design; contact the technical office for the size you need.

How long does it resist corrosion?

Resistance depends on the galvanized coating class and the operating environment. Service life is long in enclosed, dry conditions; a higher coating class should be selected for coastal, chemical-plant and permanently damp environments.
