Light steel and prefabricated buildings for schools and education campuses

In an education building the calendar is fixed: the school must be ready for the start of the school year. We completed ten light steel schools, seven in Tokat Turhal and three in Manisa, each in 40 days, and opened them for teaching. We use the same method for classroom blocks, administrative buildings, dormitories and kindergartens.

What the site needs

Ready for the school year

Factory production and site preparation run in parallel; the structure goes up within weeks and finishing works are planned to the calendar.

Student safety

Structural and seismic calculations follow the current earthquake code; escape routes, fire protection and accessibility are built into the design from the start.

Comfort and running costs

Highly insulated panels and the right window choice lower heating and cooling costs; acoustic partition walls block sound between classrooms.

Solutions we recommend

How we proceed

01

Classroom programme

Number of classrooms, laboratories, administrative and social areas are determined; the floor plan is prepared.

02

Design and approval

Structural, architectural and services designs are prepared; the permit process is carried out.

03

Production

The structural panels of the blocks are produced simultaneously at the factory.

04

Assembly and handover

Blocks are assembled in a single site setup; facade, partitions and services are completed and the school is handed over.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does a school building take to complete?
Each of the ten schools in Tokat and Manisa was completed in 40 days. The time depends on the number of classrooms, storeys and the scope of finishing works; the schedule is given in writing at the start of the project.
Does a light steel school comply with the earthquake code?
Yes. All buildings are designed with structural and seismic calculations to the current earthquake code; the low mass of the light steel system reduces the earthquake load.
Can a classroom block be added to an existing school?
Yes. The extension is built with its own independent structure and joined to the existing building with an expansion joint; the site setup is planned separately so that assembly can proceed while teaching continues.
