A healthcare building needs speed, safety and hygiene at the same time. After the earthquake we produced the light steel structural systems of the 300-bed Defne State Hospital and the 400-bed Training and Research Hospital in Hatay; both went into service within 60 days. We apply the same method to clinics, infirmaries and temporary health units.
Healthcare buildings must keep working after a disaster. With its low mass and ductility, the light steel structural system performs well under earthquake loads.
Operating theatres, imaging and intensive care need wide spans and dense mechanical services; the structure and service routes are designed together.
Interior surfaces are finished with easy-to-clean, seamless, disinfectant-resistant materials; wet rooms and the clean-dirty flow plan are set from the start.

Explore →Infirmary units equipped with an examination room and washbasin for construction sites, factories and camps.
Explore →Separate wet room units for patients and staff; surfaces that meet the hygiene standard.
Explore →Bed count, departments and flow diagram are finalised together with the health administration.
Structure, fire protection and mechanical services are resolved in the same model.
Structural members are produced on roll-forming lines; shipping is planned block by block.
Block-by-block assembly; finishing works and services integration run in parallel.
